Rachel Maddow ---please help us

Eric Cantor and the political right have some new advisors ----they are trying to rebrand the Republicans with their new profile by going to inner city schools, calling their own party stupid, and trying to split off the tea party----their efforts are usually so obvious and amateurish---but this time someone with a brain that doesn't always watch Fox news is advising them ---could be Dick Morris----not that he is smart ----but he does know the game. Rachel did a great job on uncovering the phony group posing as Dems being against Hagel--she was ringing the siren ---(what does she call that thing?)--Come on Rachel---ring the siren on this one-please

pardon me for a sec while I don't take him seriously.

there. we go.

I agree (except the part about Dick), but it looks like Rachel is on top of this:

Making Republicans seem less Republican
http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2013/02/06/16867791-making-republicans-seem-less-republican

Cantor's speech pointed in a different direction. His rebranding initiative, presumably based on a fair amount of polling data, is apparently focused on making Republicans seem less Republican. And given his party's abysmal public support, that might not be such a bad idea.

The next question, though, is whether the rhetoric is consistent with reality.

yes --it could be Dick Morris----he knows polls ---and he has worked both sides of the fence ---so maybe him-or someone like him is coaching the Gop---on how to talk the talk that's needed to at least getting some of those they want as voters to listen to them---I am not so naive--nor are those who voted for Obama to just just lay down and switch-----but it looks like the lexicon is changing -------maybe we're going to see a watering down of the Fox anchors to do the newspeak

Watched last night, and it was mentioned on several programs.

By the way, Dick Morris will be less visible going forward, as Faux News didn't renew his contract, so he's off the air shortly.

Sarah Palin + Dick Morris = good moves. There are still a few others that Faux needs to drop, but I doubt they will.

but Morris is a survivor----and he is camerable with a track record---a lousy one at that-------but nonetheless can speak into the camera---tv likes that

The guy is a joke. He's been wrong too often and too loudly for anybody to take him seriously.

BTW, he's too incompetent even for Fox. They did not renew his contract and he will presumably be gone soon.
