Christie-R is favored to win NJ but Buono-D will get over 40 percent.
McAullife-D narrowly defeats Cucinelli-R

What did Corzine in (other than being a crappy candidate) was an independent in the race. He took more votes away from Corzine than Christie.

Had someone stepped up to the plate and primaried Corzine (would not have been likely given his $$$$$) we would have held onto the seat and Christie would be a 'where are they now' contender. Sigh.

I suppose if he does real well in the northern suburbs he might eke out a win, though it is an off year election.
