Romney's "Reaching out to Santorum" is so damn creepy

Romney demolished guy with negative ads.

It reminds me of a movie where the all-powerful antagonist has the
protagonist bound and gagged and the resignation
sets in that the guy is doomed. The bad guy then talks to
him with a condescending, smirky tone, just like Mitt is doing.

If Romney really believed all the bad and horrible things
he said in his ads about Rick -- then why would he now be good enough
to reach out to for support?

Romney is a ruthless, cold-hearted shell of a person. At least
DimSon had a speck of humanity. (if you forget sending
thousands to their death for a fake war).

Considering all the deals that Rmoney has done, he will get Santorum's endorsement that will include a plea for Santorum supporters to switch to Rmoney, with Santorum spending some of his own money on public endorsements. And, the quid pro quo is: Santorum will get his ass tickled with a feather.

all of their previous comments and campaign ads are still available for review.

If they pretend that those comments never existed, it'll show how stupid they think their base is.

in the 1999 primaries.

Yet, Bush somehow managed to get McCain to campaign with him in 2004, showing a remarkable, unnatural "affection" for each other in these promo shots :

what Romney said (or Bush).

It must take a very unique type of person to forgive. Maybe they
just look at it on a totally non-personal level...like a chess move.
