7. Actually, "The Golden Girls" should be a compliment.

That show dealt with issues that other shows wouldn't touch at the time. Things like AIDS, homosexuality, sex when you get older, gun paranoia, etc., were all story lines at a time when few other shows would touch them.

So, rather advanced for its time.

He looks like "Granny" from the Beverly Hillbillies, unlike her, he is a hillbilly from Kentucky and he looks like Granny's big brother or older uncle or something. Granny had a much better neck.
