Cutting edge classrooms

President Obama is on his way to North Carolina to see how one middle school is developing a cutting edge curriculum that embraces technology and digital learning -- and talk about the way we can bring that kind of innovation to more classrooms across the country.

As soon as that event concludes, we're hosting a national show and tell with high tech schools from around the country. Students and teachers will demonstrate how they're using connected classrooms to improve the education system.

2. It's not bullshit...Duncan, Rhee and Gates really are trying to privatize our schools.

In addition, Rhee's a lying crook who is willing to hitch her wagon to any racist, homophobe or conservative that will have her and support her lining of her own pockets and call it education reform.

I worked my ass off to get rid of her here in DC...I guess it was too much to hope she'd disappear like free ice cream in July. I only wish we could exert so much force on Obama that he were forced to fire Duncan right after he had a press conference to say he wasn't...like we did with Mayor Gray. Apparently, Gray hadn't gotten the message that his election was a referendum on Rhee; we didn't elect him to keep her.
