Christie Lead Over Buono Shrinks by a few points

http://njtoday.net/2013/08/21/christies-lead-over-buono-shrinks-in-new-poll/

STATE — Republican Gov. Chris Christie’s lead over Democratic challenger state Sen. Barbara Buono shrunk ten points in the latest Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press Poll, though the incumbent still enjoys a 20 point advantage.

Likely voters favor Christie over Buono by a 56 percent-36 percent margin, according to the poll released today. In June, Christie led 61 percent to 31 percent.

Buono’s gains come from Democrats backing their own party’s nominee – she leads Christie by a 71 percent to 21 percent margin, up from 59 percent to 36 percent in June. Christie still enjoys the support of 90 percent of Republicans and 64 percent of independent voters, according to the poll.
“The trend suggests that New Jersey Democrats are coming back home. But it’s not quite enough for Buono to overcome Christie’s sizable advantage among independents,” said Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute.

Yep - it's only 10 points - but it's 20 points to the finish line. She is struggling with name recognition - but hopefully some of Bookers 'star power' can get dusted on her after he wins in October - and he can get out help her with that.

But this is for the naysayers who even at DU believe Christie is untouchable. A God. A God amongst men! A Supreme Ruler.

It's the 64% of independents who are actually the idiots NJ 12 was interviewing last Tuesday that had NO IDEA a primary was taking place. We just have to influence the idiots and chastise an Democratics that think Christie is a good guy who does good things.

I truly believe if Christie wins - all of these nonsense posts at DU about who folks will be voting for in 2016 are moot because I would be shocked if he did not win the WH in 2016. He can win it because I have no doubt he can grab some large blue states (PA, NJ, Ohio, WI, MI) - he doesn't need them all - just a few. And it's the white working class vote. It's the Joe Biden voters. But - he also has the advantage of every single 'Red' state.

Perhaps we can take some of the wind out of his sails - but I hope for the SAKE of New Jersey's women, poor, working class, elderly, students, blue collar workers, HOME OWNERS -

I hope the rest of the country can get behind us because this man is truly evil and wishes to do all of those people harm.

He is not 'tough' - at his very core he is a reptilian evil person.

The only way Christie loses is if he get caught with a live boy or a dead girl.

Realize we are at the bottom of the bottom economically.

Really? Economy is strong? Not in NJ!
