2016 Postmortem

to fall for what the GOP is doing?
Sad to say, I'm not certain, based on certain recent elected officials, etc.
I do reflect on something from the dim past, however, that gives me a glimmer of hope. Many of you will recall...
It was back in the times of Bill Clinton's indiscretions. F****in' Ken Starr, "prosecutor," who relentless pursued Clinton because of extramarital activites UNRELATED TO GOVERNANCE.. decided to finally publish testimony online.
The minute - the MOMENT - that private, intimate, racy document hit the web (which was in its infancy at the time, but still a force to be reckoned with) - public opinion turned.
It was like once folks finally saw in graphic detail what Starr was up to, what the republicans of THAT era were focused on and using to hold us hostage (rinse-repeat) there was a universal "blech." I know it happened to me. It actually kind of turned the Big Dog into a victim.
I'm hopeful the universal blech is now waiting in the wings. Keep talking, Cruz.

(3,747 posts)but the comments show the people in my state are dumb as a box of rocks. Now I know rocks aren't dumb, but they run on a very slow time scale so they appear to be dumb. In contrast teabaggers are just dumb.
