Lawmakers Throw Cold Water On NYT Benghazi Report

CAITLIN MACNEAL – DECEMBER 29, 2013, 9:42 AM EST

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), chairman of House Intelligence Committee, on Sunday cast doubt on the New York Times article that claimed that there is no evidence that al Qaeda had a role in the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi.

"I don't think it's complete," Schiff said on "Fox News Sunday" of the report.

While Schiff conceded that the report provides some insight into the Benghazi attack, it doesn't conclude for sure whether al Qaeda was fully responsible or not involved at all.

"i don't think either paradigm is really accurate here," he said.

The GOP has invested a great deal in trying to make Benghazi an issue. Issa had to talked over Gregory on Meet the Press today and Rep. Castro tore Issa apart with far less time.

produced the amount of information of NYT, they have resources available to them which is not available to the NYT, the committee's problem is members are trying so very hard to come up with a scandal rather than the truth, Issa has worked very hard to overlook the truth.

Rep. Cantor’s comments drew a strong rebuke from Darrell Issa (R-California), who has spearheaded the investigation into Benghazi: “Quite frankly, we have all the time in the world to blow repealing Obamacare. The moment to waste our time investigating Benghazi is now.” Noting that previous attempts to repeal Obamacare had cost the taxpayers approximately fifty million dollars, Issa said, “I think we’re entitled to spend at least that much, if not more, investigating Benghazi again and again and again.”

Fifty million dollars is nothing compared to the hundreds of millions we will get to kill democrats in 2014/16 in funds from all are rich friends that know we will stop at nothing to WIN, take control of the Washington Trifecta so the corporations and wall street will have free rein to wipe out the last of the middle classes bank accounts and property while we skip by tax free and monstrously wealthy.
