I saw the ad and was impressed. Despite the fact that I'm a Texan and not a Wisconsinite, I was not only pleased but a little surprised. I'm so used to bland, boring, insipid Democratic ads that avoid dealing with tough issues that I'm almost prepared to cope with yet another electoral defeat by the Democratic candidates who run such wimpy ads.
Someone in Mary Burke's campaign must have decided that it was time to go retro and get tough with her opponents, the way Democrats used to do over a lifetime ago. Someone decided to hold the Koch brothers' puppet accountable for failing to do what Republicans still claim they're good at--job creation.
Whoever-it-was in the Burke campaign, Bully for him or her! Democrats ought to get tough on the Teapublican Party for such failings! The so-called "pro-business," "pro-free enterprise" party has proven woefully incompetent at job creation in most of the states they control, and it's time and past time that Democrats take that meme away from the Tea-publicans.
PLEASE keep up the good work!
Those of us stuck in deep-red states are looking for inspiration for the day we can follow good examples.
