2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumGood News
My Dad is a moderate Republican meaning that in South Dakota, he is a swing voter.
I just talked with him, and this year he says he's voting Democratic. This is from a man whom I talked into voting for Obama in 2008, but who in 2012 made up his mind to vote for Romney--and did.
So I called him up to try to persuade him to vote Democratic this year, and I didn't have to try to persuade him of a thing. He had already made up his mind to vote Democratic.
I take that as a very good sign.

Good on him. Don't know how much of a swing vote exists in South Dakota, but that's a great sign.
