2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumStrange Polling Tactics
I just responded to a weird computer generated poll about the Senate Race between Ernst and Braley. I had to listen to it twice to be sure, but the poll switched the positions of the Republican and the Democratic candidates. More importantly, I live in Texas and have never lived in Iowa and should not be being polled in the first place.
As I was typing this, I just got polled in the Texas Governor's Race. Candidates were again reversed and my vote for Wendy Davis was ' not heard' by the computer.
Anyone else have a poll experience like this?

The situation is weird, so who knows?

(10,170 posts)Sounding name. Will try to have a pencil handy when I next answer a poll. It starts off with we have one question for you and then proceeds to ask about 4.
