Strange Polling Tactics

I just responded to a weird computer generated poll about the Senate Race between Ernst and Braley. I had to listen to it twice to be sure, but the poll switched the positions of the Republican and the Democratic candidates. More importantly, I live in Texas and have never lived in Iowa and should not be being polled in the first place.

As I was typing this, I just got polled in the Texas Governor's Race. Candidates were again reversed and my vote for Wendy Davis was ' not heard' by the computer.

Anyone else have a poll experience like this?

Sounds like either a push poll or a sociological experiment. nt ZombieHorde Nov 2014 #1

But then there was the second poll in less than 5 minutes with order reversed. It sounded like the same computer program and then my vote for the Democratic candidate was not allowed to register by not being 'heard 'by the computer.

Not everyone does a good job at their job.

The situation is weird, so who knows?

Sounding name. Will try to have a pencil handy when I next answer a poll. It starts off with we have one question for you and then proceeds to ask about 4.
