Senate Democrats blocked a move Tuesday to compel construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, dealing a sharp loss to one of their own, Sen. Mary Landrieu (La.), who had pinned her chances for reelection on approval of the measure.
See how this whole article neglects to mention the total support by the GOP for the pipeline. The article makes it seem like only democratic Senators want the pipeline approved. The GOP gets a free ride away from taking responsibility for pushing the pipeline through with a little Democratic support from Blue dog Democratic Senators.

The only person standing in-between Keystone XL and disasters waiting to happen should it be built, is President Obama and his veto pen because with a vote of 59, with fourteen Democrats voting for the dirty oil pipeline, we're going to need that veto pen as much as possible (and President Obama has promised to veto any bill about Koch Bros pipeline that comes to his desk).
I hope people here can appreciate how important President Obama really is, as we now see.
