Did Christie jump the shark with his vaccine comments?

I think he did. Someone who carries as much baggage as he does cannot afford one more example of why he really doesn't have the temperament to be President. His latest vaccine comments ("we need balance&quot are the intellectual equivalent of "teaching the controversy" of evolution or global warming. In other words, he wants to be able to dog whistle the anti-vaxxers while hanging on to the people who want science to inform public health policy, not superstition. This on top of his over the top effort to play doctor with Ebola makes Christie look like a first class pandering schmuck. Stick a fork in him. Chris Christie is done.

from people who have little respect for science or academia, and who fancy the idea of "individualism", etc.

Sorry about the weight joke, but . He seems like more par for the course, someone who will probably lose his home state, but would get lots of Repub support from around the country. They seem to like assholes.

'Cause if he needs seniors, he's toast. Too many of them remember what it was like before we could vaccinate for so many childhood diseases.
