He was eager to hate everything the president was about to say.
Carson had come to the Capitol Hill home of Armstrong Williams, a conservative media impresario who officially serves as Carson's business manager and who lately has functioned as Carson's unofficial image-maker and political adviser as well. As the two men turned to the TV, they began dissecting Obama's performance.

(15,229 posts)I've heard some scallywags in US politics, but none to match Carson - in just the few sentences I've read; a 'boot-strap', star go-getter from a poor background.
His favouring a flat tax says it all. Isn't the poor public taxed enough already?

(21,046 posts)Among black Republicans as to who can say the most ridiculous stuff?
I remember Herman Cain saying that black people who vote Democratic are "brainwashed".
And I'm sure Michael Steele has said some real whoppers too.
I won't go into the words I immediately thought of about this phenomenon.
