Not sure who to vote for, cant make up my mind.

On the one hand, Hillary is a very intelligent Woman, with a resume that is actually quite awesome.

uhhh

But then there is Bernie, talk about resumes. Talk about awesome, talk about consistency.

Just dont know what to do, but if Bernie doesnt win (look at my sig, I guess I did make up my mind and I was just trying to make a point), but if Bernie doesnt win the nomination, well there is just NO way I can vote for Hillary.

I mean sure, with her as president there will be less chance of a SC appointment that will overturn Roe.

I mean OK, with her as president there will be less chance of turning Yellowstone and Waikiki Beach over to the Koch Bros and friends who will own it till the end of time.

But she voted for that war a while back so fuck everything else...

So some Women will die in back alleys when abortions are no longer available...I dont care.

right?

I get a kick out of people who say there is no way you can vote for Hillary because of Iraq. My family suffered from that war in a very direct way, albeit minimal suffering compared to many, yet I wont use that excuse to vote against the needs of the many just because I am pissed.

Yet some folks who had NO direct involvement in that war will use that as an excuse, that really fucking infuriates me.

And too many DUers have been campaigning for 2016 even since before the 2012 election.

My question is... Who does perpetual presidential campaigns serve? Certainly not the Democratic Party.

Regardless, DU has many who will gladly throw chairs into a thread over their choice in 2016.

One expression of this, from legend and cinema, lays out what Democracy and the Democratic Party is about.

From John Boorman's Excalibur:
"You and the land are one."

That scene brings to my mind what all this politics is about. One feels it in ones gut. But above all, one should not tear out ally's guts to defend it.

We are one. Let the crazy clown car party tear themselves apart. We have no advantage to do so.

The grail is, find unity. And do so joyfully.
