I keep seeing the claim that Sanders, like O'Malley and Clinton, said "All lives matter"

in response to "Black lives matter." I can't find any instance of him saying that, but I could have missed it if he did. Is anyone aware of such an instance? (I do think, by the way, that saying "all lives matter" in response to "black lives matter" is both offensive and clueless.)

Yes, I know he didn't say it at the netroots event. Vattel Jul 2015 #4

every pol is going to have his off moments, especially in unscripted scenarios.

He knows what he has to do going forward

I tried googling it, but couldn't find anything. If he said it early on, then it may have been due to simple ignorance of the black lives matter movement, but I will wait to see what turns up.

It was written to infer both candidates said that at the Netroots convention. But I shouldn't mention that - it doesn't fit it's a right wing conspiracy defense.

At the event, on stage, without adding white lives matter, or all lives matter(and he tweeted the same thing before clinton)...he handled himself just fine, I really don't see what the uproar is about. I think certain people wanted to make this an issue, and so they did. There wasn't much else he could have done given the circumstances.
