Related: About this forumGOP SuperPAC donors > $1 million --- money money money!
My jaw dropped when I saw this article in the NYT ... not a single Democrat on the list. But wow. Those Republicans candidates are swimming in cash thanks to their wealthy overlords.
A suggestion for those of you going door-to-door campaigning for your Democratic candidate ... hand a copy of this article to the 99% you'll be visiting!

The Million-Dollar Donors to Presidential Super PACs So Far
By JEREMY BOWERS, JOSH KELLER and KAREN YOURISH UPDATED JULY 31, 5:03 P.M. ET
Today is the deadline for the outside groups known as super PACs to file fund-raising reports for the first half of 2015. For the groups that have filed so far, here are the individuals and corporations that have given $1 million or more. Unlike campaign committees, super PACs can raise unlimited amounts of money from wealthy individuals, labor unions and corporations, but may not work directly with campaigns.
This list will be updated as the super PACs file their reports.
Total amount given to candidate-affiliated super PACs so far
1. Robert Mercer, Co-chief executive of Renaissance Technologies, a hedge fund.
Total: $11.3 million
Ted Cruz 98%; Bobby Jindal 2%
2. Toby Neugebauer, Co-founder of a Houston-based private equity firm and son of United States Representative Randy Neugebauer, Republican of Texas.
Total: $10.0 million
Ted Cruz 100%
3. Kelcy L. Warren, Dallas billionaire and chief executive of an energy company.
Total: $6.0 million
Rick Perry 100%
