You know ... Romney's appearance at the NAACP convention drew relatively polite boos from

a "hostile" audience. ("hostile" is relative here ... Romney is probably of the opinion that, if a white person is in a room full of black people, he will be the first and only one to die ...)

Contrast that with Obama making a State of the Union speech ... decorum ruined by one a**hole shouting "You LIE!" ... (of course, the Repugs booed Clinton loudly, too ...)

Yes I know that some supporters use the term "Obamacare" but he clearly meant to be derisive. It was intentional. He wanted to get boos from African Americans in a calculated way of building up credibility with winger bigots.

politely and respectfully. However, I doubt he gained many votes.

"If I was invited to do so."

But ...

when he was NOT running for the nomination for President ... he was invited many times to speak at the NAACP convention ... and he totally ignored the request. And somehow, it was the NAACP's fault that he didn't get invited (not to mention that, apparently, the 2012 "NAACP Convention" was held long after the primaries he was trying to win ...)

Cue the standard "liberally-biased media's" response when a Republican is caught in a major lie of spin ...

(highlight between the arrows to see the "liberally-biased media's" major assault on Newt's claim)
