For those of you who love the First Lady....

Yesterday Michelle Obama was in Westerville, Ohio and I had the honor of being there!. The gymnasium was packed with over 2000 folks and she was amazing. She has a new drive to get everyone involved in the last 100 days of this campaign. 'It Takes One'. So please go out and check out what she is talking about and get one friend to join in with you. Time is flying by and there are critical areas of this country that need your help. We can't afford to let this go by!

Here is the link

Here is a link to the article in the Dispatch about Michelle's inspirational speech!

Let's put DU to good use and bring on the volunteers. It would be amazing to see what kind of difference we could make right here by volunteering to help in the home stretch of this campaign.

Thanks,
Kim

I would love to meet or even go hear the First Lady speak. When you live in a reliably true blue state, we never get to meet candidates that aren't running for local offices. The flip side is we get waaaaay less political ads than a swing state.

We get the ads and the fears of stolen elections. On the other hand we have housed Obama volunteers in both elections and it is a stream of neat, hard working folks. Here's to hoping that people volunteer to make sure that states like Ohio swing solidly enough to Obama that they are too tough to steal!

Michelle is a shining light. I got the email asking us to do one thing, get one other person involved, it was so well written, I could sense her sincere enthusiasm. Who wouldn't want to help her?

It was 3 minutes long, but it seemed longer than it needed to be.

I've been telling people to do this whenever I make campaign calls. I'll see if I can weave this message into my calls.
