Related: About this forumAnother misleading Romney TV Ad
Romney just came out with another ad taking President Obama's statements out of context. Wouldn't the perfect solution be for the Obama campaign to produce ads including the entire statements (before editing) to show the Romney lies? Maybe this would stop the Romney campaign from creating similar ads in the future.

(1,374 posts)The O campaign has refuted the lie in an ad where Obama talks directly to the camera as well as this one called "Tampered"

(186 posts)Thanks for that link. I just saw the new Romney ad on the Chris Matthews show on MSNBC. It deals with the economy and again the quotes are taken out of context. I still think it might be more effective for the Obama campaign to put out a commercial showing Romney's lies and then showing what the president actually said. Just my opinion.

(1,374 posts)especially about that out-of-context quote. He and other Rethugs have already doubled-tripled-and quadrupled down on it and will never give it up. That's how they operate. Facts don't matter. It has been debunked by Wash Post, FactCheck and PolitiFact...but it doesn't matter to them. It's the basis for his entire campaign right now until they find some other lie that gets traction.
