Poll: Tammy Duckworth leads Joe Walsh, 50-41

Freshman Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) is nine points behind Democratic opponent Tammy Duckworth, according to a poll released Thursday by the anti-Tea Party super PAC CREDO.

The poll of 500 voters in Illinois' 8th District found that 50 percent favored Duckworth, compared to 41 percent for Walsh. Walsh had a 39 percent favorable rating, up from 28 percent in a Democratic poll conducted in January. Little other polling is available on the race, but the Cook Political Report rates the seat as likely to turn Democratic.

Just because she's in the lead isn't incentive to sit back and expect the best. You have to know that the opposition will do anything and everything to win. It's all the more reason to get out and fight for a slam dunk.

If it's that important, you ought to at least put a link to her site so that people know where to go to help her.

There's nothing better I would like than for her to be so insured of victory that the DCCC can cut her loose to help Dem Congressional candidates across the nation.

She is truly a rising star.

Here's the link that you forgot to put in your OP.
