Last independent 4 African American Romney supporters give up.

Heard it from Dewey Cheetham that AP will be running with a story tomorrow that it has identified the last 4 African American supporters of Mitt Romney that were not actually on some kind of Republican payroll or members of the LDS Church.

Recent polls indicated that Romney was polling at zero African Americans but there were 4 young venture capitalist African Americans who felt some kinship with his business experience and continued to support him.

They had gathered for a "you probably aren't going to believe this" puff piece to be run in the AP Sunday Supplement Section but were shown a clip of Romney joking about the President's birth certificate. After an awkward minute or too they thanked the host for the donuts and coffee and excused themselves.

The AP has switched its focus and will now try to find a dozen single women below the age of 35 that support the Romney/Ryan ticket. After a couple of days of phone banking with 234 operators it is becoming clear that finding anyone in that demographic is also becoming more difficult by the day.

I *know* he will back Romney. His partner said that Sarah Palin wasn't so bad, she just got destroyed by the media.

So, there. There's ONE. A statistical anomaly, fer sure.
