PA GOP Senate Candidate: Getting Pregnant From Rape Is ‘Similar’ To Having A Baby Out Of Wedlock

Pennsylvania GOP Senate Candidate: Getting Pregnant From Rape Is ‘Similar’ To Having A Baby Out Of Wedlock
By Tara Culp-Ressler on Aug 27, 2012 at 3:17 pm

MARK SCOLFORO, ASSOCIATED PRESS: How would you tell a daughter or a granddaughter who, God forbid, would be the victim of a rape, to keep the child against her own will? Do you have a way to explain that?

SMITH: I lived something similar to that with my own family. She chose life, and I commend her for that. She knew my views. But, fortunately for me, I didn’t have to.. she chose they way I thought. No don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t rape.

SCOLFORO: Similar how?

SMITH: Uh, having a baby out of wedlock.

SCOLFORO: That’s similar to rape?

SMITH: No, no, no, but… put yourself in a father’s situation, yes. It is similar. But, back to the original, I’m pro-life, period.

I'll put myself in 'a father's situation'. A father like yourself, that is.

Women don't enjoy sex so being raped or having voluntary premarital sex is the same thing to a woman. A father, on the other hand, is just as disgusted with his daughter being raped (you TOLD her not to wear that dress!!!) as he is with her getting some in the back seat of your Caddy. Pregnancy is a blessing in its punishment. It teaches your little girl to dress more modestly, not act like a tramp and to behave like a proper future Stepford Wife once she's found the perfect sperm donor for your grandchildren. If you had only had sons like you prayed for, none of this would be an issue.

What does she think? Doesn't matter as she 'choses the way you think'.

Fuck off you asshole.

Casey is way ahead in the polls for the PA Senate race anyway, so it doesn't matter which GOP loser is running, they will get crushed.
