Obviously time is important.

Coach on an airplane is probably ok, though much worse than rail for carbon emissions.

Dems MUST get out there in the trenches to reach those who LIVE and work in the trenches.

Have urban campaign stops at a YMCA, visit inner city community centers, inner city libraries, underserved schools starving for dollars and resources, out in the rurals, visit local Tractor Supply or rent some space on a local farm.

Gotta get out there and meet people on their own turfs, eyeball to eyeball and listen.

Rallies and donor dinners are fine but sometimes ya gotta go to them instead of them coming to you.

Word of mouth and rubbing elbows with a few of the forgotten locals goes a long way to building bridges.

Just my 2 cents.

while working for a market or a butcher in Ethiopia. I just find mocking anyone from a poor third world country and comparing it to the way our elite politicians travel is a bit of a stretch.

I'm impressed with human ingenuity. The whole argument about how candidates travel doesn't rise beyond the level of mockery, but that's another story.

Best we see a candidate in their
natural environment, not a staged
faux photo op designed
to appeal to low information voters.
