Clinton Has 45 To 1 Superrdelegate Advantage

It's true that Clinton also led in the superdelegate race in the 2008 presidential cycle and eventually lost to Barack Obama. But Clinton's support is far greater than what it was around this time in 2007.

Back then, AP found that 169 superdelegates were for Clinton, Obama had 63 of the 90 percent they contacted in December 2007. That's a nearly 3-to-1 advantage. Her lead this year is 45 to 1.

Not all superdelegates are tied to a state as such.

But I don't think the superdelegates would go against a candidate that won a majority of all committed delegates. That would be a huge PR blunder.

Considering the polls heavily favoring Bernie, our "representatives" have chosen to go the opposite route. Political junkies here dont take getting fucked with very lightly. Add to that - our debate is the weekend before Christmas? Seriously?!

Nobody cares about NH in the GE though. Let the chips fall where they may.

Perhaps we should work to mitigate the influence of super-delegates in the next primary. However, it's unlikely to matter unless the primary goes down to the wire.

here in Chicago that 13 of the 26 super delegates in Il are committed to Clinton. It's good to see Rep. Luis Gutierrez saying he can see himself voting for Bernie Sanders. My rep, Madigan, is still uncommitted. He will be getting some calls from me.
