I googled this accusation a little while ago and saw that some other news websites are now running the story. Was not sure if this was resolved or it is still a controversy.

Is that 45+ years ago Bernie snuck in, changed the caption to that photo knowing he would be running for president.

This was always a silly waste of time, and would have been even if Sanders wasn't or isn't the guy in the picture. It's 45 years ago and Sanders was involved in campus activities at that time.

it is not doubted that Sanders participated in civil rights activities while he attended the University of Chicago.

Of course, it is said that we all have twins in this world, so a misattribution was (and is) possible but there are other pictures and even Sanders' police record...this is a very dumb controversy.

I first heard of Bernie's civil rights activities in this U of C magazine article that I read right after he announced for the presidency.

If you go down to the comment section of the article, you can note a comment there questioning whether the man in the picture was Bernie Sanders...the comment is 10 months old.

got the photo from. Time is taking the word of a couple of people over what the University itself believes who is in the photo. Forget Logo-gate we got ourselves a real Photo-Gate here and Time online has the exclusive!!!
