So it's Supply Side Warhawk Hillary now? I guess Progressive Clinton is so "last week."

Well a few weeks ago it was Hillary the Progressive.

This week she's out criticizing taxes to pay for liberal social programs. And rattling the sabres now that the nation's is currently in Terror24/7 mode (at least for now).

Amazing how that "I'm the real progressive" stuff got shed. So what's on the plate next week in the ever-shifting message?

The ge might be tough without the bernistas, and she and her mob have gone to great lengths to insult them, belittle them, and lie to and about them. Interesting times.

Let's just say she is riding the anti-tax bandwagon and using the GOP tactic of "no taxes are good" and exploiting the fear of that to and distort the perception and scuttle valid social programs.

is so far beyond Clinton's it's not even funny. And you just admitted your claim about supply side was false.

She isn't scuttling social programs. She proposes raising taxes on the wealthy and cutting them for the poor and lower-middle class. WTF is this even about?
If you're talking about Syria, Bernie was totally on board with that during the debates. They both support coalition-based military intervention.

I actually disagree with making such a blanket statement, but it is what it is.

The criticism on this issue is borne out of willful ignorance, and indicates a desire to believe the worst, regardless of the evidence. It's the kind of fact-free adherence to ideology that we rightfully criticize on the other side. And by the other side, I mean the Republicans, not other Democrats, in case anyone forgot.

What a damn cesspool this place has become.

follow Bernie to the left? Guess she took it seriously for whatever reason. Those guys are SO afraid of the Left, going after Warren, Bernie, VOTERS even, coming out of the shadows lately to attack anyone who DARES to oppose their right wing policies and getting slapped down btw.

They sound so petulant, so arrogant, so nasty when they do emerge from their Wall St funded Mansions to lecture the 'little people' and to admonish their candidates of choice should they move even slightly from the right, just a teeny bit.

Saw their admonishment to Hillary recently. It sounded like a warning. When they did it to Elizabeth Warren she more or less told them to go 'stuff it'.

Hillary otoh, seems to be doing as they told her.

dive into the trenches and join the brigade! We can draft son's and daughters of rich politicians and corporatists first. I'm sure no one will object. They are surely eager to dig rifle pits, hump ammo and supplies into forbidding areas, watch their friends die and be part of one burial detail after another. Yeah rah, rah, go team. If you haven't been here for a week or so then perhaps you missed it when Hillary called for a ground war against ISIS? She's also come out against single payer health care and has actively criticized the idea on the grounds that, "the middle class doesn't need a tax hike." This is the stuff that Republicans campaign on.

Even the OP has said that this post is hyperbole.

I'm not so much talking about the positions (on which I would argue, but more pleasantly-- among other things, to say she called for an American ground war against ISIS is a huge exaggeration). But in this thread, there is a reference to Orwell's 1984, someone calling her a Chimera, a juvenile gif of a spinning weathervane, a comparison to Sybil, a reference to someone being inbred, among other things.

That's not pointing out facts-- that's outright hatred.

Maybe it's all harmless. It's just depressing to read on a board supposedly aimed at talking about Democratic issues and candidates.

I'd like to read mostly positive posts about our candidates. All of this pie-flinging makes me grumpy. Maybe it's time for another week's break.
