I found this to be amazing. His rationalizations are . . . disturbing.

(7,237 posts)1. This is telling, IMO...
When freshly single, I hit on everything that I had interest in.
"Hit on everything"?
If that isn't pure objectification I don't know what is.
The women he "hit on" aren't even people.
They are... things.

and nothing cute about it
or milf or all that other cute junk they say to make them feel like players when they are nowhere in the ballpark.

(5,763 posts)5. I dare say, you're right.
But he doesn't admit he didn't stop at just hitting on those . . . interesting things.
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)8. ya. he really is admitting when say he has done wrong and has grown up.
pretty much confession from a coward.

(110,159 posts)2. interesting enough. he repeated he had made mistakes and "grown" from it.
he raped and couldnt own it. he knows what he did and could only go so far. at 16 he should know rape is wrong. at 20. 25. 30. "growing up" is not part of the learning curve with rape.
caseymoz
(5,763 posts)4. I don't see a learning curve.
Only in hindsight does he see that there was something wrong with what he did. But he's admitted that, so now that's all history.
His responsibility never reaches the present. People now are accusing him only because they don't like him. Five years from now, maybe when he's serving time, he'll admit that he did something wrong today, but even the lightest self-criticism doesn't reach the present. He's a serial rapist, and his insight is always behind his own curve.

His justifications sound awfully familiar.

Probably having the same personality disorder would make him sound similar.
