maybe feminists should.

I could think of a few more things to burn as well. Like Photoshopped pictures of women looking emaciated.

Recalling the 1960s ‘bra-burning days of women’s lib’
In Bra-burning, Debunking, Media myths on September 6, 2011 at 4:33 am

Ah, yes: “the 60s bra-burning days of women’s lib.”

Those “bra-burning days” can be traced to the boardwalk at Atlantic City, NJ, 43 years ago, when about 100 women’s liberation demonstrators protested the Miss America pageant at the city’s Convention Center.

At the 'Freedom Trash Can,' 1968

A centerpiece of the protest was what the demonstrators called the “freedom trash can,” into which they consigned such “instruments of torture” as brassieres, girdles, high-heeled shoes, false eyelashes, copies of Playboy and Cosmopolitan magazines.

The protesters have long insisted that, contrary to legend, bras and other items were not set afire that long ago September day.

but it's use as a descriptor for feminists is so common, that I think I had forgotten.

Or I never really knew! LOL

of the bra burning back in the day. Yes, I'm old enough to remember. Maybe I'm just remembering this photo, though.

And what would be wrong about it if they did, anyway?

I know it's a total nuisance, and I don't do it as often as I should, but it's a good idea to get properly fitted. Any decent department store can help you out.

And unless you have tiny tits (as I did, back in the day), going braless makes the clothes fit badly, since they're designed to be worn over bra-contained breasts.

I just stopped wearing them....and don't 99 percent of the time presently... I'm lucky to not have saggy ones.

& to avoid the underwire ones. I only wear one during exercise or when I'm out of the house. Working from home has it's advantages!

I've gotten addicted to them, though, so it's been tough.
