About 75% of the time when I either start a thread, or respond to one...

the whole thread disappears from whatever forum it is posted in. I can still access it by going through "My Posts",
but otherwise it's gone.

Does anybody else have this problem?

It's possible that some thread may get locked or hidden which would explain why that occurs, but for it to reach 75% means that you must be starting or responding to some extremely contentious threads (oops, now that I see user name it could explain things).

Only my dear departed Dad was allowed to say those kinds of things about me. He always said that I was being contrary.

I'll give you an example, I started this thread @ 3:32 in General Discussion: Baby Kangaroo and 4 Baby Goats Stolen from Wisconsin Zoo. It doesn't show up for me, so I can't include a link.

Really strange.

Keep in mind that the individual group and forum pages are sorted by the "Last Reply" column and not the "Start Time" column (except for pinned threads). You can click on the "Start Time" column header in the black bar to sort by that column.

Particularly if you post in GD, there are a lot of replies so it doesn't take long for a thread to drop off of page 1 of the list if nobody nibbles on that carrot and your thread drops like a throne. Have you kept that in mind?

ETA: You wouldn't see a thread at top unless you start the OP; otherwise, your reply will cause the thread in which you responded to briefly appear at the top.
