3. Just watched this

I knew this government hadn't lived up to my hopes, but I didn't know it was this bad. I knew that both parties had sold out to corporate interests, but I didn't know it was this bad.

I've voted in every election, locally and nationally, since I was 18, which was 44 years ago. When I was young, I worked in campaigns tirelessly, naively believing I lived in a democracy. I've marched against war since Viet Nam, I've served in my local city council. To see all that work come to this and under an administration that promised everything and did the opposite in every way that matters is chilling.

This is an excellent, professionally made film well worth watching. An eye opener even for me.

Dare to care about our future as a country, work for real change where you can, and distribute the link to this film across the internet, everywhere you go.

6. I had bookmarked and I just watched most of this.

It's great. I love the Irish guy at about 46:50 on what caused Ireland's problems: "Greed, greed and more fucking greed.....wanking bankers."

And then, he warns the American interviewer not to be smug: Ireland doesn't have the debt the US has.

Some of it is hard to see, esp. the parts about torture and kids hurt by drones.

We are creating generations of problems for us and our descendants--assuming the planet sustains human life for that long.

8. It was ahead of its time......

I first posted this way back on DU when there were us lefties starting to question Obama's Policy..and, then, when someone mentioned it recently with the 2016 Election looming...I went back and dug it out of archives and searched to find a new link for it.

I re-posted it here in PMRG because things seemed to be getting worse...and I remembered this documentary and how when I posted it orginally here on DU ....I was so frustrated and thought that some of what it talked about at that time...still seems to be in operation.

Thanks to those of you who might find it worth the watch if you missed it the first time way back!
