"I think it's time to end the very artful smear that you and your campaign have been carrying out in recent week," Clinton said after Sanders talked about getting money out of politics.
Sorry, I just can't react to this with anything but laughter.. stand up debate comedy for the 1%.

(57,936 posts)She lost it. She just lost it.
It must be tough. Remember just about every vote that Sanders now has was "taken" from Hillary. Her polls were really high when this primary started out, and now she is neck and neck. She will do well in some states, but Bernie has hit the issues that are troubling Americans. She is just on the wrong side of history and on top of that, she has a terrible temper which we are starting to see.
This is not going to end well for Hillary. Even if she ultimately gets the nomination, I think there will be a lot of Democrats who will compare her to Obama who is compassionate, can take even the nastiest criticism with grace and calm, and just give Hillary a hard time.
Hillary is to sensitive and temperamental for the presidency.

(12,977 posts)There's a certain etiquette to booing. Boos at a debate are rare as it is -- but I've never heard a candidate saying "My opponent smeared me" and the audience booing in agreement. When boos do occur, they're always directed at a person who has just said something unacceptable. And in this case, that's Hillary.

(14,691 posts)although there was applause at the start - how many Hillarians were packed in there? What a "performance" from her. Yelling over Bernie, won't let him get a word in edgewise. Way to go Your Majesty. She's outta control.

(5,614 posts)have in mind the attacks on a candidate's strongest points. Bernie's is sincerity and honest. That is what HRC was attacking, and especially after her surrogates have spend weeks trying to maul him.
And that's what got her booed. Even the commentators didn't believe it, though they "loved" the fireworks.

(32,060 posts)she got it under control, forced out "I'll look into it" and artfully changed the subject.
Dishonest, lying politician. The only time she looked at all genuine was when they talked about the water in Flint.

(1,587 posts)She kept doubling down, telling Bernie if he had something to say to her, just say it. But every time he opened his mouth, she talked over him.

If a Democrat doesnt stand for universal health care that includes every single American, you can see the consequences of what that will mean. It is imperative that we have plans, as both John and I do, that from the very beginning say, You know what? Everybody has got to be covered.
