"Very artful smear"? Please...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?ebc=ANyPxKp_ht5F8jd3iWFviSoVj0-_S5biUaN9_1Fmh8wBcoxtmIlRjvSyjOX1TdhylmUOJB2xUx2p&v=qpRHjlrHwwU

This makes me upset.

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe this is shortly after Secretary Clinton indirectly made refference to a vote Bernie made on the CFMA for a second time in a debate. I know this is politics and it is true that he voted for it. However, IMHO, it is MUCH more of an "artful smear" given the all facts regarding that legislation, and identifying one of its authors (Gary Gensler now CFO for Clinton's campaign) than Bernie calling into question her integrity as a politician as is relates to taking money from certain banking institutions for speaking fees.

I wish Bernie would get a chance in a debate to point this stuff out....

I will proudly support Hillary if she in the nominee, but this kinda stuff needs to stop.

1. That's how it goes. Accuse the opposition of the very same glaringly obvious offense you yourself

I guess Bernie my have set himself up for her to spin negative observations he makes about her as "smears" given that talks about having never run negative ads.

Your right, no one on MSM will point out the smear she put out there shortly before this exchange, but I'm sure Bernie's "smear" of her will get coverage.

temperament to be president.

President Obama does. President Obama does not show it and probably just takes it as part of the game when someone sends a dig or smear his way.

In this respect, President Obama earns a lot, and I mean a lot, of respect.

Thank you President Obama.

Hillary just is not hard-shelled enough to be president. She boils inside and makes a valiant show of not venting her anger.

But that is not good enough if you are going to be president. As president, you really have to be compassionate and take A LOT, A WHOLE LOT, OF CRITICISM.

Hillary's supporters made a lot out of the way that she withstood the ridiculous Republican "hearing" on -- was it Benghazi? or something else? The notorious and much exaggerated e-mail controversy? They love to pick on her because they know she is a bit sensitive to criticism.

She did a good job at that trumped up "hearing," but still on an everyday basis, she reacts too much to the stupid nitpicking and many controversies that are a daily part of being a leader and especially of being a president or a candidate for president. She just stiffens her back and acts very arrogant and angry. That will not do. She does not have the temperament that you need to be president.

President Obama does. He has held the country together during these difficult years in great part because he is able to reach a part of himself that is not sensitive to every nasty comment or jibe. I can't extol President Obama enough for this wonderful character trait.

Character is much, much more than just having a monogamous marriage or a monogamous sex life. Just want to add that irrelevant thought.

Not to down play what they will throw at Hillary or at Bernie in the general. But Obma has, like you said, been extremely good at shrugging off jabs and always remaining presidential in his reactions and responses to them. Hillary does deserve a lot of credit for the 11hr Bengazi hearings and she has been taking criticism for a LONG time from Rebuplicans, but that's what seems to make this strange to me responding this way to Bernie. It's like it burns more coming from someone to the left of her even if it's, IMO, substantive, than udder ridiculousness coming from the right.

I maintain that Bernie in the debates has shown more of a presidential demeanor when he has been jabed by Hillary than she has when she has perceived that Bernie is dishonestly trying to "smear" her.
