MSNBC Suspend Chris Matthews or Give Bernie Equal Time

SNBC should suspend Chris Matthews, host of Hardball, because of his constant shilling for Hillary Clinton. In every episode of Hardball, in every "exclusive" interview with Clinton, he gives her endless time to make her case, repeats her talking points, gives her softball questions, denigrates Bernie Sanders and his people powered movement and reinforces the narrative that she will be the Democratic nominee. Matthews should be removed from the air for the duration of the campaign or he should be required to give Bernie equal time.

Some also understand Matthews changes his opinion as well. He's done some very nice positive interviews w Bernie too. He's been tough on Hillary surrogates etc etc

4. But Matthews has a conflict, too.

And that is part of the difference.

I understand that Matthews wife is running of the U.S. House and has tied her star to Hillary.

So, Matthews advocacy for Clinton is self-serving.

Besides, I haven't noticed Hayes or Maddow being especially pro-Sanders ... although they tend to be pro-progressive and not so moderate like Clinton.

I think Matthews is scared of the Sanders phenomenon ... he is so stuck in conventional wisdom, the way it's always been done mentality, that this energy for Sanders perplexes and frightens him.

Of course, this is hugely ironic because I remember Matthews had a radio talk show in the early 1990s and he hated, I mean he absolutely hated the Clintons.

I don't really think they should suspend him, but he should get his head out of his.... and give Bernie equal time because it looks like there is a very REAL possibility of Bernie becoming the Democratic candidate!
