Oh my dog this was the funniest non-scripted thing I've ever seen-the candidates walking to their podiums tonight.

PS.I know this isn't a Bernie thing but I don't want to go out...there.

(111,467 posts)Something is wrong with him. He needs to be sitting in a neurologist's exam room, not on a stage with a bunch of losers.

(5,141 posts)I agree, he's not normal. And I wonder if his behaviour is neurological too. Or if he's on the autism spectrum somewhere.
Either way, odd.

(5,141 posts)Had it on in the background as I worked mostly but when I'm feeling horrible and anxious like I have been lately, nothing picks my spirit up quicker than my old friends there. I've got it on my iPad right now...the "Eddie Baby" sketch!

(34,140 posts)My brother who is now dead for 13 years is the one who turned me on to Monty Python. I watched the Twit skit with him and we hung off of each other laughing so hard we finally fell off the couch in a ball of hysteria.
Last year we went to hear John Cleese talk about his book and he mentioned a lot of what was going on with them when they did this show. It was mostly all about his life but Python was a big lot of it.
The other one I thought of when I saw this, and thank you by the way I would have missed this if you had not posted it, was The 100 Yard Dash for people with no sense of direction. It gets no better than this.

(5,141 posts)Omg the first part-the candidates were doing a reenactment! Speaking of, that's one of my favorite Python sketches:
Sorry about your brother. That's gotta suck.

(1,573 posts)I think it was a psychological thing where Carson and Trump were jockeying to be the last one out. But then Kasich stole a march on both of them. Unfortunately, only because the moderators almost forgot to introduce him (you can hear Rubio reminding them).
(Oh, and by all means post this over in General Discussion! The air isn't quite so foul there.)
Thanks for the laugh!
