Bernie Sanders

A hillary supporter makes a false claim:
-You think this country can be divided over LGBT and race issues.
-Bernie thinks non economic issues don't matter.
-Bernie is a sexist.
Someone comes out and calls the out poster on the absolute blatant crap post... rightly pointing out exploitative behavior.
The response?
-I wont be silenced by you
-Stop bullying me
-Your just trying to cause division
The bullshit just gets thicker and thicker from there, with all manner of deflections and projections.
I don't get how this sort of thing isn't laughed off into non-existence.
I see this pattern repeated over and over.
It's worth saying: co-opting a group's voice, IS the same silencing them. Hillary supporters do this ALOT!

(1,523 posts)The irony of this is that Clinton supporters are telling young women how to vote by telling them they are stupid man crazy sluts who are going to burn in hell if they don't vote for Clinton.

(1,192 posts)Remember how she was determined to be not silenced on gun control, even though she was being held down by her sexist opponent?
So there you have it; false victimhood, playing gender card, and pandering to the base in the hopes of gaining political support -the trifecta of very cynical and deeply insulting Clinton strategy.

(687 posts)we would have multiple parties with two names.
Bernie would be leading the Social Democratic Party.
Hillary would be the champion of the Passive Aggressive Party.

(23,730 posts)screaming "we will NOT be silenced" is always a core tactic of astroturfers--Brooks Brothers Riot, West LA sending chanters to shut down any subway carrying "those people" past Vermont Avenue, biddies worried about bike lanes
