Video, Carrier A/C Workers Rage at Being Told 1,400 Jobs Moving to Mexico~ Hear Bernie's Msg.

*Carrier Workers' Rage Over Move to Mexico Caught on Video*, CNN Money, Feb. 13, 2016

Workers at the Carrier manufacturing plant in Indianapolis were caught on video booing and jeering after being told that the plant would be relocated to Monterrey, Mexico.

A YouTube video showed Chris Nelson, the company's president, delivering the news on Wednesday. The plant employs roughly 1,400 people.

Nelson said it was a strictly "business decision" that was made in order to "stay competitive and to protect the business in the long term".

At one point, the crowd became so boisterous that Nelson was forced to plead with the workers to get them to listen.

"I've got information that's important to share as part of the transition", Nelson can be heard saying.

..In the statement, Nelson said Carrier understands that the decision will greatly impact "employees, their families and the community" and will work to ease the transition. (continued)

major companies from news articles posted here. Can't recall exact employers but Nabisco, Oreo cookies! moving from Chicago area to Mexico, banks downsizing employees, and maybe Verizon, Toys 'R Us and many others continuing the trend of sending data, accounting and other 'back office' departments to Asia.

To add, corporate mergers and stock option buy-backs by execs. are also rapidly happening now which always eliminates employees. There's Dow and Dupont, some giant health insurance companies and other mergers now. Monopolies always disadvantage workers, small businesses, foster poverty and decline- the end stage realities when capitalism is unregulated- 'free market', free enterprise style...

We always had Carrier A/C units too, very reliable. ~ American nightmare. Thanks NAFTA 1994 and other factors involved, namely massive deregulation, globalization and runaway corporate greed.

If they keep this shit up, they are sure to see their profits go down as more people won't be able to afford them. Sorry about the language but I am so mad.

7. As a written in another post to this news I posted in the video section:

<We have important information for you. We will build a better product, at lower cost and not pay US taxes. You and your families can starve. Have a nice day. If you ever get new emplyment and can afford our fine products, please keep us in mind. And be sure to recommend us to anyone you know who can afford our products, that will barely make it past warranty.>

They don't care and don't need American buyers I think. And they're banking on the rising, new middle class consumers in the millions to buy their products in fast emerging economies in Brazil, India, China, etc. sometimes called the 'brics' countries.

10. Report, *TPP WOULD RAVAGE THE US ECONOMY
Tue Feb 16, 2016, 02:30 PM
Feb 2016

2 min. video segment, published Feb. 10.

- Report: TPP Would Ravage The U.S. Economy -

A new study into the economic repercussions of the Trans-Pacific Partnership has concluded that, as predicted, the deal will have a huge negative impact on the U.S. economy. America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, and Farron Cousins discuss this on Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV.

Hosts Mike Papantonio and Farron Cousins emphasize drastic effects the TPP trade agreement will have on US jobs, beyond what NAFTA and CAFTA did combined. The US will then also lose more jobs due to the 'trickle down' effect, Cousins says.

Pap just returned from Asia for a month, where the TPP is the hottest topic because when it comes they will see a bunch of new jobs. In terms of US costs, projections for the TPP trade agreement are expected to cause the loss of more than half a million- 500,000 American jobs that will be offshored Pap says.

He also reminds that NAFTA projections were way off, not 200,000, but 700,000 US jobs left in the end. Pap asks what is Hillary's position on TPP.

Clinton really has only her confederate states firewall, and even that is showing signs of cracking.

governors, legislatures, ALEC and Right to Work for Less Laws, if not now when?

That 'firewall' is a myth I hope as support grows in states like S.C., Nevada and Texas.
