Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumSo I had a post hidden
because it quoted south park... it was deemed to be too offensive to Hillary Clinton...
The post was from Salon, which commenters deemed to be a source of news from White Privilege.
Exactly what sort of groupthink are we meant to engage in?
At what point is this site and this "party" simply propaganda?
grumble grumble grumble...
If you wanna see what was so offensive, you can read it here:

Mine was in a post about other twitter comments saying that they were twitter quotes, and even included other twitter comments. The alerter picked one, said I was saying it about Hillary and got it hid.

(15,728 posts)and then racist because Bernie let some BLM speakers speak in his place.
I can't remember, weren't we homophobic next?
And then Bernie was a thief because he hired an ex Obama and ex DNC worker.
And then the Bernie supporters do not vote, just stand in line for 6 hours in rain and snow to hear Bernie talk.
And then Bernie hires another ex Obama campaign worker who right before an election jumps ship to Clinton.
But in all that we know that it is impossible to run a campaign on small donations, you have to have wall street support. No need to speak to rallies, because of wall street support. It has been told to Democratic party campaigners for years.

(51,907 posts)Sanders deferred to that decision, entirely correctly, IMO.

(11,076 posts)I have been against the jury system here since its inception. Last week I had my first hide ever which turned into two before the day was out. So now I say yes to jury because some of the people out here are very screwed up. I still vote as fairly as possible or refuse to vote if I can't be fair.

(12,629 posts)"Eight years ago, Barack Obama glided to victory on a progressive platform that promised real change. But after eight years of brutal compromise and frustrating stalemates with the GOP, Gitmo remains open, American troops are still in Afghanistan, the criminals that engineered the financial crisis are at large, and race relations have deteriorated rather than improved. Now Sanders supporters hear Hillary Clinton promising to continue wherever Barack Obama leaves off, and they wonder what the point of four more years of the same would be in an increasingly desperate country and, indeed, world. To the Bernie or Busters, half-measures no longer cut it. Its why theyre for Sanders in the first place..."
I didn't write this paragraph, but it sums up my feelings well.
Thanks for posting it!

REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
ALERTER'S COMMENTS
Now democrats are telling democrats that their vote is not needed, this kind of attitude has to stop.
JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Fri Mar 25, 2016, 02:00 PM, and voted 4-3 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: inexcusable personal insult
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I don't agree with it, nobody's vote is toxic or not needed. But it's not beyond the pale on this message board, unfortunately.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Personal attack
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's obvious sarcasm. The alerter should perhaps read the entire thread rather than just hunting for Bernie supporters to alert on.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: I realize that the primaries are a time of great within-party conflict, but let's try to keep from getting personal!
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
