Bernie Sanders Opens New Campaign Office in Harlem

HARLEM — The Bern is coming to Harlem.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, who already has an office in Brooklyn, has opened a second campaign office at 175 W. 137th St. at Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard, organizers said.

A note from the event's organizer urged volunteers to get involved with the campaign and attend the office's grand opening at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Some local residents (and their pets) have already rolled out the welcome mat for Sanders ahead of the presidential primary on April 19.

Jane Sanders was raised in Brooklyn too, in an Irish Catholic family. Wonder why it isn't mentioned more, esp. with the upcoming primary.
