Was there ever any consensus on Hillary's major accomplishments, or Bill Clinton's for that matter?

The reason i am asking is because it seems if you speak to foreigners, you constantly hear the WTO mentioned as Bill Clinton's crowning achievement, often thats what non-US people see as the Clinton Administration's main accomplishment- if so, why aren't the Clintons being honest about that?

I think "why aren't the Clintons being honest about that" answers your question... nt revbones Apr 2016 #1

the major accomplishment was that he was elected and had a "D" after his name. We had 12 years of "R" with some mighty big blowouts and although we knew we were electing a middle of the road "D" it was better than nothing. However, I don't think anything prepared us for 8 years of triangulation and watching the party drift increasingly over to the right. I think neither Bill or Hillary have a vision for the country - they have a vision for themselves - they thrive on power.

Its hard to say how many would be effected, I think a lot. Especially the entry level. how would we get people to go into highly skilled professions if there was no entry level, if they were all globalized out?

The globalization of government procurement aspects of pending trade deals, as well as the existing ones, is being hushed up.

Also, we need the ability to have a New Deal. In other words, we need to be able to steer US government spending to jobs for Americans, preferentially. When people pay taxes, one of the reasons is that some of that money employes other Americans- if we break that linkage- we do it at our peril.
