(8,352 posts)Sorry, I am not locking.
And if y'all are reading this, after the shit that has been pulled here today about the Vatican visit, the gross, vile & sexist comments being justified about Jane Sanders, and the continued attempts to disqualify and discredit him, there is no way in hell that I am locking something as innocuous as this.
Get over your narcissistic selves.

(11,665 posts)That same day, Hillary Clinton will be attending a fundraiser in the global financial capital of Hong Kong, hosted by Gary Gensler, her campaigns Chief Financial Officer. Gensler walked through the revolving door from Wall Street to Washingtons financial regulatory system. Prior to heading up the Commodity Futures Trading Commissions (CFTC) regulation of derivative swaps, Gensler was a partner at Goldman Sachs. The fundraiser can only be attended by those willing to donate the maximum allowable contribution of $2,700.

(10,622 posts)as a bag man, another question is the fundraiser sponsored by one of her 501(c)(4) orgs so she can receive undisclosed by name donations from say, Chinese nationals?

(10,622 posts)So Until It is clear if she will also be going it may only be Gary Gensler, or it may be both of them.
As yet I have seen no solid confirmation that she will be accompanying him or any solid confirmation she will not.

(10,622 posts)Depends on if the event is sponsored by one of her 501(c)(4)s so she can receive undisclosed by name donations from say, Chinese nationals? Not as clear as Hilary on how to get foreign donations, but with my limited information, all she need to do is use a fundraising source exempt from disclosing names and sources of donations I believe (need an accountant to confirm this) that a 501(c)(4) entity can do this, she does have those as well as several PACs.
