Bernie Sanders

He doesn't use a lot of hair products and his hair is clean enough to move when his head does and/or when the wind blows.
Can we move on now, corporate America, to things like minimum wage and other things on which people who are past puberty need and want to focus?

(3,284 posts)Does America really want to elect a president with messy hair?
The American people are wise, and know well that hair-quality and appearance are critical in a Chief-Executive.
Does America really want to risk its security and well-being on a head of messy hair, when
perfectly-coiffed heads are readily available?
What about the children? The kitties and puppies? Sunday football, ferchrisesakes!?
They could all be in jeopardy.
Many Americans may decide that, at this time, it is simply not prudent to select an unruly, un-predictable head of hair,
when great hair, or at least, safe, good-quality hair, is available.
Sure, sure, populist policies would be great, but, people have to ask themselves,
Is the risk worth it? Do we dare take that chance?

(45,251 posts)Did you know, that infamous $300 haircut led to his prosecution?
His wealthy, older benefactor was pissed that he got bad publicity for having his campaign pay for it. She called to say that it should come to her for money whenever something might embarrass John. So, they went to her for money to house and support his mistress. With the knowledge of her advisors, she made out the checks for antiques. So everyone knew that she was not making campaign donations. But, the D of J prosecuted him anyway, causing his already distressed family a new world of hurt. McCain, however, did use his wife's assets for his campaign, even though he took matching funds under McCain Feigngold. He got to pay the money back quietly.
IOKIYAR, even during a Democratic administration, with Democratic majorities in both Houses. No one in power wants that two Americas bs, so STFU.
That said, I don't let Edwards off the hook for wanting to leave us open to perhaps the biggest October surprise, ever.

(41,144 posts)the cute new Bernie Bear. There's also a group called Democratic Stuff selling Ts, totes, buttons, coffee mugs noted in a GD link re merchandise. I don't know what if anything is sold through the Sanders for president official website. A lot of political people use the huge Café Press Co. as you may know.
(Items I purchased from the Obama Campaign in 2008 were so bad, cheap, ill fitting- made in China that I sent them back. The flimsy ball caps were for 4 year olds! funny. Refund was no problem).

(45,251 posts)would help Sanders more if donated to his campaign. I guess everyone who cannot do both has to decide for himself or herself, but that is a great T.

(41,144 posts)It was first on the very long thread about Bernie's hair over the weekend, by the young beautiful Asian woman with the popcorn box in her posts! She posted the T, contacted the seller and then let people know the contact info.
I'd go for the $25 T, by saving elsewhere if poss.- it's such a stunner and good for promo. Not bland. It even comes in different colors, and the site says there's a *Hoodie too but I couldn't find it yet.

(45,251 posts)She and her advisors knew perfectly well they were not donating her money to his Presidential campaign, but to keeping his mistress in the style to which she wanted to become accustomed. That was proven in court. That's why he was found not guilty.
I never voted for him and never planned to vote for him. Additionally, as I said, I will never forgive him for running for President, knowing very well that his affair could wreck the election for Democrats, if he were to become the nominee, not to mention his dying wife and his children. Uber selfish narcissist and all around @#$%, in my book. However, his only crime as to Mellon was being doted on by a woman who could more than afford to indulge the objects of her doting.

More Bernie stuff I didn't see, including a *Tote, cool. Need to click on '17 more items' on the Main Page.

I worked harder in his class than I've ever worked and got an A-. Proudest grade in my life. He was honest and the top of his field. Walked with a limp and spoke ten languages fluently, including Linear A and B and Aramaic. His knowledge seemed as vast as the universe and I wanted to dive into it. Smart people like that inspire.

In Bernie's case, it's what's beneath the hair that counts.
merrily
(45,251 posts)therefore to look messy from time to time.
One can apply a can of hair spray to make it not move in the wind, but then it doesn't look natural.
merrily
(45,251 posts)looking natural is not a top priority. Just speculation, I know. (And lest anyone accuse me of anything, this applies to ALL candidates of ALL genders and orientations.)
