I am sure it didn't get much attention on DU

but CBS has new national poll with CLinton ahead 52 to 33 nationwide.from early october she went down 4 and bernie went up 1.
So they are showing a 19% lead for Clinton.however at this time in 2007 She had bigger lead over obama.and that was with some
endorsements for obama and more debates.Bernie's people retweeted it on tweeter.

I really don't think polls matter much at this point. They're interesting for entertainment, but little else.

What does matter is activism and I see a great deal of that for Bernie. I think the primary is going to be shockingly close and I think a few will be surprised by the results.

she does not poll well as being trustworthy. A few people think she is untrustworthy and apparently would vote for her anyway since only 40% think she is trustworthy and she has upwards of 55% support right now. But, I seriously doubt she will remain at that level of support when people really see that they have an alternative.

To which I can reply...

It sure is! This time your opponent isn't some mystery knight on a dark horse with a billionaire's backing behind him.

It's a skilled politician with a lifetime of accomplishment, an unimpeachable record, and the People (a grassroots movement) behind him. All the money in the world isn't going to help in this race, when the time comes for People to vote.
