Black Women 4 Bernie ?@BlackWomen4Bern 4h4 hours ago

I hope they post the results of the Poll again. Bernie had 65% if the vote at this forum and hillary only 12% lol...she gonna lose SC imo

Another poll that Bernie's wins in a landslide.

I think it is possible that Bernie will win SC. He has a lot of support there among the AA community, know some people there who are very excited about him and now working to get the word out to all those who are not familiar with him!

He has an event coming up in Atlanta on Monday night and he will be introduced by Rapper, Killer Mike!

His friends and supporters in the AA community are going all out to help people get to know him.

His numbers among AAs which were very low, 8% have doubled in one month as supporters and volunteers for his campaign introduce him to more people.

Name recognition was his problem not just with AAs but across the board. We've seen what happens once people get to know him! And it's happening again.

4. If Bernie wins SC it's over.

In fact, I'd say Bernie wins it all if he is able to get within 10-15 points of Clinton in SC. At the beginning of this primary season, Clinton polled higher in South Carolina than any other state.

5. He has some great campaign managers. They initially focused on the critical states, NH

eg, knowing that to get some recognition he would have to make some waves there, going from 3% in the polls to ten times that, and even further, beating Clinton and closing he gap in Iowa.

I was really impressed at how they ignored all the smears about 'white people' and remained focused on their goal of first getting some name recognition.

NOW he is focusing on states like SC. I think he always had some aces up his sleeve, lots of support from people in the minority community who were behind him, and when he needed them, he knew they would be there for him.

The smears re playing the race card failed to distract his campaign from their plans to get the attention his campaign needed in order to be viewed as a serious candidate.

The Rovian attempt to preempt his campaign from moving from those critical states into other areas of the country and do the same there as he did in NH eg, failed.

One thing about Bernie is his ability to remain focused on the goal.

He turned the attempts to use the race card against him into a positive.

All he ever had to do was tell the truth.

Eg, the Black Women For Bernie Twitter account has grown in just a few weeks from a couple of hundred followers to where it is today.

The race card attempted smear actually backfired. It got him attention in places where he would have had to spend time and money and people began to wonder 'who is this guy' and searched out info for themselves.

I have no doubt that in a couple of months Bernie will have introduced himself to millions more Americans as he is doing now in SC, and has an excellent chance of winning that state.

8. They are backfiring. If you have a goal in mind you have to keep your 'eyes on the prize' and that

is what his campaign has done. While some of us may have been distracted for a while, his campaign was not.

And AAs like Simone Sanders and Nina Turner came to Bernie because he got is message PAST the noise and they heard it.

Others heard it too and switched from Hillary to Bernie and are now great assets to his campaign.

Killer Mike, eg, a very smart man, listened to Bernie's message and sent out the word that he was endorsing him because of his stance on voters rights.

What bothered me all along was that a couple of people CLAIMED to speak for AAs when in fact, that could not be further from the truth.

AA support for Hillary comprises only longtime registered Dems, who are older. But younger AAs many off whom are not registered to vote having given up on the system, don't own landlines, are coming to Bernie's campaign and realizing that they CAN use the system, with a leader like Bernie, for their own interests.

DU is not the place to learn anything about how minorities are viewing all of this.

11. He's a smart man. He'll be with Bernie in Atlanta on Monday evening.

He sees what has been going on and became interested in Bernie after taking the time to listen to him.

He has a huge following on twitter, over one million people. Same thing with Lil B who also switched from Hillary when the smear campaign backfired by causing people like him to look Bernie up and come to the conclusion that 'Bernie was fighting for my rights before I was born', and then ask the question 'what was Hillary doing at that time' and when he found out, he instantly switched to Bernie.

That is called 'backlash'. Had they not tried to attack Bernie on his excellent Civil Rights history, never thinking that it would cause people to ask about Hillary's, they would have been better off. But I'm glad they did!

If they don't mess with the elections we can win this thing. What if people actually recognized the bullshit for what it is? The nation could change. Those evil malefactors might start a war over it.

14. I think their problem is that more and more people DO recognize the bullshit. Many just dropped

out of the system altogether, which is probably fine with those in power.

But Bernie is bringing people back. That's not so good for them, but it's very good for the country.
