Bernie personally calls his 100,000th campaign contributor, and It’s not Wall Street

http://www.ringoffireradio.com/2015/05/bernie-personally-calls-his-100000th-campaign-contributor-and-its-not-wall-street/

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is running his 2016 presidential campaign his way: no giant donations from Wall Street, just real support from real people.

One of those real people, Kinsey, a park ranger from northern Florida, was the 100,000th person to donate money to Sanders’ campaign. To thank him for his contribution, the senator called him personally.

If you keep trying, you could conceivably be his millionth. That has to be worth a call, too. merrily May 2015 #8

he can be so outspoken on the major issues IS because he is NOT beholden to Corporate Donors.

I remember working for a non-profit education group once and they too refused donations from organizations who would have wanted to influence the group's direction. It was great to be able to be so creative, and successful in the goals people had, without worrying about donors who had ideas of their own.
