(12,882 posts)If I got some mail from them - asking for a donation - I might be willing to send more to them than the DNC. At least they'd be pleading from a point of honesty.

(15,480 posts)"We have a really good thing going here at the DNC. We wait for a candidate with actual integrity to come along, adopt all of their positions during the primary, and turn our backs on the constituency once elected because, well, we already cashed the checks."
Wonder if vendors learned their lessons from the 2008 campaign & demand payment in advance from the Clinton camp. I mean are there still suckers out there giving her an interest free four year loan of some $25 million?
http://www.politico.com/story/2013/01/hillary-clinton-2008-campaign-now-debt-free-086597More than four years after Hillary Clinton lost the Democratic nomination for president, Clintons 2008 presidential campaign is finally debt-free, new reports filed by the campaign show.
Clintons campaign committee paid off about $25 million in debt and now has a surplus of $204,832. The campaign retired its debt just as Clinton is preparing to step down from her job as secretary of state. Clinton supporters are pushing her to run for the presidency again in 2016.

(6,440 posts)One question, though: what does OPOL mean? I tried Googling it, and the most common result was that it stands for "One Parent, One Language". But I can't see how that's relevant in this context.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, you're fired. Jon Cowan, you're fired. Larry Summers, you're fired. Hillary Clinton, you're fired, too.
