... steal elections because of the proprietary inner workings of the voting machines, which allowed them to question the voting results because there were intentionally no paper trails that could be used to refute or validate the results, unlike the years of paper ballots that allowed a post-election audit.

WE SEE THAT NOW. Say the election was stolen repeatedly, and enough voters will believe it to bring us to this point.

Now, lawsuits have proven that machine voting is not flipping votes or otherwise manipulating results. Fox News's lies cost it millions. Fox News agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787.5 million to settle a defamation lawsuit over false election claims. And reporting suggests there are more lawsuits in the works.

Now, they want to return to paper ballots and use voter suppression schemes to manipulate the votes in statistically chosen wards to lower the results of democratic votes. This would allow them to use the electoral college vs popular votes.

It is important to remember that the President is not chosen by a national popular vote. The Electoral College vote totals determine the winner, not the statistical plurality or majority a candidate may have in the national popular vote totals. Electoral votes are awarded on the basis of the popular vote in each state.

Or, the short version, win the states to accumulate enough electoral college votes (270), and you win the White House. Regardless of the fact you lost the popular vote nationwide

In my honest opinion, it's not about fairly winning the election based on popular vote results. It is all about stealing the right votes in the right places to get to the magic 270.
