"Today, I am a registered Republican no longer."

=snip=
As a local GOP official after President Obamas election, I had a front-row seat as it became infected by a dangerous and virulent form of political rabies.
In the grip of this contagion, the Republican Party has come unhinged. Its fevered hallucinations involve threats from imaginary communists and socialists who, seemingly, lurk around every corner..."

Maybe more confident? He's always been strong, IMO

I think politics has degenerated into such a cesspool that some people have (mistakenly?) equated Obama's civility with weakness and his thoughtfulness (as in 'thinking things through rationally') with spinelessness. In my eyes, the President has more brains, character & integrity in his little finger than all the conservatives combined. He has always taken the high road and he always will because that's who he is. That's something conservatives will never understand.

"Bill Maher Calls Out Republicans for Being the Dicks That They Are"

Jason Easley
June 23, 2012

Republicans have devolved into being as selfish as possible. Their whole thought process seems to be centered on the assumption that if it is good for other people, it has to be bad for them. There is no real ideology behind their actions. Selfishness has become their ideology. They are a collective group of toddlers pointing at everything and screaming mine, mine, mine at the top of their lungs. They have devolved from mature conservative thought to the miseducated adolescent homeschoolers that they are at heart.

Consider the source--stupid, idiotic, contemptuous racists. Not a shred of humanity.

A wise man is superior to any insults which can be put upon him, and
the best reply to unseemly behavior is patience and moderation.

I don't mean to make light of it-- not at all. But such "people" don't even deserve a response.
They're toxic and to pay attention to their hateful diatribes tells them they're getting a reaction.
The best reaction is to ignore them. IMO.

They're celebrating a truly hollow "victory"

They're so toxic and so despicable and full of hate that they're blowing it big-time. They've clearly shown themselves to be a rabid pack of hyenas all along. I think they're headed in the direction of
Truly. They can't get away with this. The only people who condone this behavior are just as sick and pathetic as they. And it's good to know that our President handled this atrocious conduct with grace and an innate dignity, as always, leaving the seething repukes with rotten egg on their faces!!

Police Officers, Fed Up with Rick Scott, Leave Republican Party En Masse

Note: This occurred last year.

"Next month the Broward County Police Benevolent Association is holding a "Party to Leave the Party" -- an event coordinated with the Supervisor of Elections where police officers and the general public can switch their voter registrations from Republican to Democratic or Independent."
