Biden: ‘bin Laden is dead, and GM is alive’
WASHINGTON US Vice President Joe Biden spelled out a blunt reelection message for his boss President Barack Obama on Tuesday Osama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive.
Bidens comment at a Texas fundraiser came as Obama stepped up his drive to claim credit for rescuing the iconic US car industry, as he took a spin around the Washington auto show and declared the US auto industry is back.
The vice president boiled down Obamas State of the Union message into some pithy sound bites at a fundraiser in Fort Worth expected to raise more than $150,000 dollars for the reelection campaign.
Biden hailed Obama as a champion of Americas hard-pressed middle classes as they emerge from the deepest recession since the 1930s and said the president had kept his promise to pull US troops out of Iraq.

Florida GOP Turnout Actually Fell (15%) From 2008
Florida GOP Turnout Actually Fell From 2008
Underneath tonights big win for Mitt Romney in the Florida Republican primary, is a statistic that might suggest enthusiasm is flagging among GOP voters in this large and crucial swing state: turnout was actually down significantly from 2008.
In the 2008 Republican primary in Florida, in which John McCain beat Romney by a margin of 36%-31%, a total of nearly 1.95 million votes were cast.
But in tonights primary, turnout was actually much lower. At time of writing, with 98% of precincts reporting, the total turnout is only about 1.65 million a drop-off of 15% in terms of the raw number of voters.
Romney did increase his own vote total, though. In 2008 he received about 605,000 votes. Tonight, it is up to about 765,000. (One can imagine him combining some of his old votes, with some of McCains in 2008, for his strong 46% plurality.)

BRILLIANT - Democratic Response To Romney Win!

Best Democratic response EVER!!!
byEclectablogFollow
Bwahahahahaaaa!!!
I just got DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz's response to Mitt Romney crushing Newt Gingrich in Florida's primary tonight. And it's good. Very good.
But the best part? The preface that came before it from her media person Greg Greene:
Before I give you the Chair's comments about tonight, it's worth underscoring that Mitt Romney had the best victory a massive financial advantage can buy. When the ads on the air on your behalf outnumber those for your opponent by a factor of 65-to-1, we can put to rest any notion that you won because of grassroots passion for your ideas.
(Fun fact: only 0.1 percent of the ads aired in the entire Florida primary campaign and Romney, with his allies, aired 13,000 of them were
(a) positive and (b) for Romney. Those were in Spanish.)

Walker E-Mail = Cover-Up?!
Walker "John Doe" Investigation Now Involves RNC Chairman Preibus, Cain Campaign Manager Mark Block

..........................
Perhaps more interesting, however, is an email about her resignation that Scott Walker sent to Tim Russell who was then acting Director of Housing for Milwaukee County. This letter appears as part of the Rindfleisch Complaint issued by the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court Criminal Division.
Also included is a section of the findings that shows both Wink and Rindfleisch had been using a secret router and laptops brought from home to conduct campaign business while on the clock for the county. More importantly, these new pieces of evidence imply County Executive Scott Walker knew about the ongoing wrongdoing:
On the day of the Journal Sentinel article, May 14, 2010 at 8:56 in the morning, while chatting with Tim Russell, Rindfleisch advised Russell, I took the wireless down. Its in my bag for now.
At least in the short term, the resignation of Darlene Wink had an impact on the activity of the County Executives Office. This is reflected in an e-mail exchange between Scott Walker (skw@scottwalker.org), and Tim Russell, then serving as the Director of Housing for the Department of Health and Human services. See Figure 15 recovered from the kmrindfleisch@gmail.com account.
