CNN Goes On Air With Story About Incident Against Network’s Black Camerawoman

DAVID TAINTOR 5:50 PM EDT, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 29, 2012

On air this evening, CNN's Wolf Blitzer called attention to the network's earlier report on two Republican National Convention attendees throwing nuts at a black CNN camerawoman and saying, "This is how we feed animals." The attendees were removed from the Tampa Bay Times Forum after the exchange.

Blitzer called the incident "truly shocking" and said it "hit home" for everyone at the network. CNN political analyst Donna Brazile said during the segment she hopes the two attendees have their convention credentials revoked.

SO! The Romneys ate off of an ironing board.

The Romneys ate off of an ironing board. They seem to think that’s what poverty feels like. Well, I went camping once. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t what homelessness feels like. Trying to pass this situation off as anything like the fear and heartbreak experienced every single day by millions of Americans living in genuine poverty is insulting, insensitive and, frankly, deranged.

Why (and How) Romney is Playing the Race Card---By Ron Fournier

Why (and How) Romney is Playing the Race Card

.................

Working-class whites, in other words, are already more prosperous and secure than working-class minorities, but they’re less optimistic because they don’t believe they’re climbing anymore. They’re simply trying to hold on to what they’ve got, and see others grabbing at it.

Thanks to Romney, they see minorities grabbing at their way of life every day and all day in the inaccurate welfare ad. It opens with a picture of Bill Clinton (a man obsessed with Macomb County and Reagan Democrats) signing the 1996 welfare reform act, which shifted the benefits from indefinite government assistance to one pushing people into employment and self-reliance.

........................

Translation:

Sweaty White Laborer = That’s Me!

“You Wouldn’t Have to Work” = Blacks Wouldn’t Have to Work

“They Just Send Your Welfare Check …” = They Just Give Your Pay Away to Lazy Blacks

“Plain Old Welfare” = Remember Those Welfare Queens? They’re Back.

Before explaining why these tactics work (and why Romney’s team knows, or should know, they are playing the race card), let’s quickly deal with this fact: The ad is wrong. As countless impartial fact-checkers have noted, the Obama administration memo cited by the Romney team actually gives states flexibility to find better ways of getting welfare recipients into jobs.

Rush Limbaugh slammed Karl Rove on Wednesday and said he was “literally going insane”

Rush Limbaugh slammed Karl Rove on Wednesday and said he was “literally going insane” over GOP strategists’ advice that the party not attack President Barack Obama during their convention.

“Do you want to talk about the overall tone of the convention?” Limbaugh facetiously asked his radio show audience. “Do you want me to say, ‘My gosh, what a bunch of wimps. Don’t even have the guts to mention Obama’s name. Christie didn’t have the guts to mention his name?’ Do you want me to tell you how this bunch seems to be afraid to be critical of a party that’s destroying the country? Or do you agree with the party, ‘No, we don’t need to mention that because everybody already knows it and we’re trying to attract swing voters, and they don’t want to hear that stuff?’”

YIKES! GOV DOCS Obtained By Rolling Stone Show The Legend Crafted By Romney Is Basically A LIE!

The Federal Bailout That Saved Mitt Romney
Government documents prove the candidate's mythology is just that

In fact, government documents on the bailout obtained by Rolling Stone show that the legend crafted by Romney is basically a lie. The federal records, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, reveal that Romney’s initial rescue attempt at Bain & Company was actually a disaster – leaving the firm so financially strapped that it had “no value as a going concern.” Even worse, the federal bailout ultimately engineered by Romney screwed the FDIC – the bank insurance system backed by taxpayers – out of at least $10 million. And in an added insult, Romney rewarded top executives at Bain with hefty bonuses at the very moment that he was demanding his handout from the feds.
